Obsolete Elegance
Street performance / In situ / creation 2025 - premiere in April / Circus
"Obsolete Elegance" transforms unusual locations into a captivating universe, seamlessly blending reality and the surreal. Four women embody extraordinary characters, exploring the inherent beauty of the imperfect and the grotesque. Traversing a landscape both chaotic and graceful, the performance invites the audience into a space where the distorted and the divine coexist, revealing the magic hidden in the unexpected.
“For this wound of perfection, I wear my chaos as a shield. My hesitant steps, your contagious laughter full of double meanings, our complicity sewn with wire. I wear garlands of pieces, fragments, of things once forgotten, things that were nothing—but together now, they seem—we seem—something unique, half-formed, yet brighter than gold, far, far from anything neat, precise, or perfect.”
